It was an extreme pleasure to photograph the wedding of Katie and James this past Saturday. The weather wasn’t cooperating early but as soon as we were ready for some outdoor portraits, mother nature smiled upon us! The ceremony took place at St. Francis of Assisi Church and what a beautiful church it is. I’m looking forward to shooting there again. After the ceremony we all headed to the Ohio Statehouse for some bridal portraits. I could shoot there all day long! You will see why in the photos below. A Columbus wedding would not be complete without a photo or two with the skyline in the background, so we headed off to Scioto Mile for just that reason. One more stop at a local bar and then we finally made our way to the reception at The Columbus Athenaeum. I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with or better venues for photography. This is why I love my job! While you are here, take a look at my vintage wedding blog post from the Athletic Club of Columbus.
