Thank you to Samantha and Ryan for trusting me with photographing their beautiful wedding. We started the day at Samantha and Ryan’s home and Samantha’s parents’ home (they live right next to each other!) near Buckeye Lake for the getting-ready moments. The drinks were already flowing when I walked in to start the day. Everyone welcomed me with a kind smile and offered to help me in any way if I needed. What a great group! After everyone was dressed, the bride and groom read letters they wrote for each other, and that is one of my favorite wedding moments to photograph. I always make sure to stay kind of far back so I don’t intrude on that incredibly intimate moment.

We then headed to 22 Acres Farm for the ceremony and reception. It was my first time at 22 Acres, and I could not love it more! Barns are always amongst my favorite weddings, and this was no different. The grounds are beautiful there, and it has no shortage of great spots to take photos. We took some bridal portraits done ahead of the ceremony along with a first look with Samanthat and her dad.

The ceremony went flawlessly and flowed right into family and bridal party portraits. We headed inside the barn to start the reception, and it was just as gorgeous inside the barn as it was outside! I was lucky enough to have another great sunset to work wit,h so I went out with the bride and groom and did a quick portrait session with them while the sun was setting behind the barn. I truly wish I could get a perfectly placed sunset at every wedding!

I can’t thank everyone in attendance enough for their hospitality and for letting me be part of the group while I was there. Also, everyone at the venue was awesome. A 22 Acres Farm wedding is certainly a thing of beauty, and I cannot wait to go back for more!
