Every event is unique. Everyone displays different emotions at different moments of the day and those emotions, whether big or small, need to be captured. The laughing, the crying, the loud celebrating to the quiet moments before the guests arrive, they are all beautiful and add to the story of the wedding or mitzvah day.

That’s where I come in. Above all else, I am a storyteller. What better story is there than that of a wedding or bar or bat mitzvah? That is what drew me to photograph these types of events in the beginning of my career. From beginning to end, every second during the day helps to define the story, your story.

I have been photographing weddings, mitzvahs and other events and portraits for well over a decade in Ohio and across the country. I truly enjoy meeting new people and documenting them while they celebrate. I get to work with people on some of the happiest days of their lives. How could I not love my job? Whether you are the kind of person that does not like to be posed or if you’re a little camera shy and need some assistance, I am there for you. I will do my best to make sure you are comfortable the entire day. I try to be a fly on the wall when possible so I can photograph the natural moments without intruding but if I need to get in the middle of the dance floor to get the shot then that’s where I’ll be!

I also strive to offer affordable wedding photography packages. My starting package is less than what the average person pays for a Columbus wedding photographer! With all of my packages, you get up to 8 hours of coverage and all of your images in high-resolution with print release. Albums and engagement sessions are included with some packages, but can also be added a la carte.

One of the other great things about being one of the most affordable Columbus Ohio wedding photographers is that this city has many great venues for ceremonies and receptions and I never tire of exploring them. Whether I have been to the same location a dozen times or if I am working there for the first time I truly enjoy wandering around the space looking for the best spots for photos and finding good light in the obvious places as well as the not so obvious. I have photographed events in churches, homes, barns, parks, museums, urban settings, as well as many others and they all have their charm.

Immediately after photographing your special day, I begin the editing process. Instead of relying on Photoshop to save the photos, I strive to get the photos captured correctly in camera. That limits how much editing is needed and helps me keep a natural look to all the photos. That also allows me to get your finished photos delivered to you very quickly! Just take a look at my wedding photography gallery. Those images have very minimal Photoshop work done to them. However, if you do prefer a more enhanced look to some of your photos, I will happily work with you to add the effects you want for your prints and albums.
