It was a cold and windy day but that certainly did not stop the fun at the Our Lady of Victory Columbus Athenaeum wedding of Meaghan and Keith! I’m so happy I had the chance to photograph them along with their family and friends. I saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd since I had just photographed Keith’s sister’s wedding just a couple months ago. This group certainly knows how to celebrate in style! The day started off at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Columbus where I photographed the bride getting ready along with her bridesmaids. After a ton of great shots there, I headed over to the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and meet up with the guys while they ushered the guests to their seats. The ceremony started and went perfectly. We took some family photos at the church and then headed over to Arch Park in downtown to get a few bridal party photos. No one cared for the cold and wind but they toughed it out long enough to get some memorable photos. I really loved the photos taken of Meaghan and Keith with their son walking in the grass together. Instant family heirloom! Just before the reception started we took a few more fun and classic photos on the rooftop of the Renaissance Hotel. The reception was held just around the corner at The Columbus Athenaeum. The bridal party made their entrance, some great speeches were given and then the party really got underway. I always love when I photograph a reception full of energetic dancers and were no shortage of them at this wedding! I get to photograph weddings like this many times a year and I am very thankful for all the opportunities. Take a look at my most recent blog post, Columbus Ohio Park Wedding, for some more great photos. Thanks for stopping by and I will be back next week with another wedding to post.
